| Musical Director — James T. McRaney, Atlanta | ||||||||||||||
| Dr. McRaney has 45 years of experience in choral music and education in Georgia, including 25 years at Cross Keys High School. He hold B.M., B.S., and M.A. degrees and the Ed. D. in music education. He was chosen the 1983 Georgia Teacher of the Year and is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Reinhardt College in Waleska. | ||||||||||||||
| Accompanist — Don Akin, Lilburn | ||||||||||||||
| Mr. Akin, an Atlanta native, holds the MMus degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and is pursuing advanced studies in computer science at Georgia State University. | ||||||||||||||
| Associate Accompanist — Kathy Ray, Atlanta | ||||||||||||||
| Ms. Ray, also an Atlanta native, holds an undergraduate degree in music from the University of Georgia. She is the Media Technology Specialist at Pebblebrook High School in Cobb County. | ||||||||||||||

| Arietha Lockhart, music specialist in DeKalb County, has sung with the Atlanta Symphony Chorus and Chamber Chorus, appearing as soloist with that group in Carnegie Hall. She presented her debut recital at Weill Recital Hall (at Carnegie Hall) in 2003. She has won numerous vocal competition prizes, including the National Opera Association Competition's Legacy Award (professional) and the Meistersinger Competition in Graz, Austria. Her largest audience, however, never actually saw her perform; she was the haunting voice of the white butterfly in the world broadcast of the 1998 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. | ||||||||||||||
| John LaForge, Coordinator of Music Education for the Fulton County (GA) Schools, previously served as choral director at Tri-Cities (magnet) High School. He holds B.A. and M. Mus (in voice) degrees and has studied toward a doctorate in opera performance at FSU. As a solo artist, he has performed with major opera companies across the United States and in Europe. He works with numerous arts organizations in the area and was recently named the Georgia Director for the Metropolitan Opera. | ||||||||||||||
| Anna Baksheeva began her violin studies at the age of 5. At 9, she studied in a music college in her home town of Vladivostock, Russia and transferred to St. Petersburg Music College at the age of 11. When she was 16, she was chosen to make a concert tour in America under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club. She is presently studying music performance at Georgia Perimeter College, has played with the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra and has performed for numerous other local audiences. | ||||||||||||||
